Aer Lingus is set to serve its customers a taste of summer, with its new Business Class menu and expanded in-flight entertainment library.

The new inflight dining options are inspired by the best Irish cuisine and have been chosen based on customer feedback with upgrades to both Economy and Business Class menus.

Aer Lingus refreshes seasonal menus every three months and on the new Business Class menu, customers can now enjoy dishes such as skin-on thyme and parsley chicken supreme, herb-infused roasted pork, flaky pan-fried hake and citrus-marinated salmon.

Those looking for a lighter, or vegetarian, option can also now look forward to a new rich root vegetable and pearl barley stew, served with a seasonal salad.

Other highlights include Irish smoked salmon, saffron-poached prawns, and a roast parsnip and seasonal apple soup to start.

Aer Lingus has also expanded its in-flight entertainment library by more than a third, so there’s something for everyone to enjoy, from the latest blockbusters to classic favourites and captivating documentaries.

Susanne Carberry, Aer Lingus Chief Customer Officer, said: “At Aer Lingus, we value feedback and constantly review our food and entertainment offerings to ensure we meet the needs of our customers.

“Based on this feedback, I am pleased to say that we’ve upgraded the quality and range of food onboard for both Economy and Business Class customers and have increased the amount of in-flight entertainment content by more than one third.

“Along with enjoying enhanced in-flight dining and entertainment, holidaymakers can also expect a warm and friendly welcome on board all Aer Lingus flights and a generous baggage allowance when flying long-haul.”
