Boeing Global Services’ new facility near London’s Gatwick Airport has expanded with a newly installed 737 Max 8 simulator and approvals for additional simulators which will make it the company’s biggest training facility outside the USA.

The growing centre also includes new high-tech classrooms, or learning centres, enabling engineers, technicians and pilots to use digital systems to better understand the mechanics and operation of an aircraft.

Chief ground instructor John Hurley explains how the new centre changes the appeal for training for the new generation of aviation professionals.
